Sentani Lake

Lake Sentani lies between Jayapura City and Jayapura Regency, Sentani itself means "Here we live in peace". You can reach Lake Sentani by boat, to attract tourists, usually in mid-June every year there will be a Lake Sentani Festival.

This festival is always filled with dances on the boat, there are ceremonies, and offerings of various culinary specialties from Papua.
